Happy Easter Weekend!

Jaymz had a T-ball game Saturday morning so Sarah & Kasey came down after that, picked up Emily, and we all met over at Grandma and Grandpa Laney's house--except Lindsey, who we miss a lot.

Traci & Eli & kids were there, Chris & Vonnie & kids, Michael Mathew, Nancy & kids, and Tonya & Rob and their little Daniel.  So we had 16 adults and 13 kids!

We ate ham, roast, potatoes, carrots, rolls, yummy spinach dip with sour dough bread Tonya brought and various other items.

Then we had the annual Easter hunt that we have been doing for around 28 to 29 years.  My parents are so generous with the kids.  She had a good sized bucket for each of them and everyone came back with a full bucket.

It was raining but we hardly noticed.  It wasn't cold.  I had an umbrella.  I was Emma's buddy for the hunt.  So happy that she chose me.  Traci had Tyrel.  Sarah had Kylie.  Elivia ran ahead with Baylee.  Jaymz was in between us.  The kids had so much fun!  Uncle Mathew helped hide the treats so occasionally he'd help the little ones find something.

When we got back to the house the kids had a ball going through their buckets and eating treats.  Emma and Tyrel were eating theirs as fast as anyone would get them out of the wrappers for them.

Got some real cute pics of Elivia, Emma and Baylee in the rocker with their suckers.

Zoey was asleep since they had arrived and had missed the egg hunt.  When she woke up I had her on my lap with at least one other grandchild--usually Tyrel, so I didn't get any more pics til we came back to my house around 5pm.
Zoey loved the buckets and if someone left their bucket in her reach she was in it.  She's much funner to watch 'real time'!!

On Sunday we went to church. Then had Easter dinner with Sarah & Kasey and the kids. Then the kids all had fun playing together til S&K had to go home around 5:30. Here are a few fun pictures I captured.

Tyrel is so ready to GO on something with wheels like the other kids.  It won't be long before he is going. For now, he just loves you to push or tow him along.
