Tyrel is Four!

Tyrel is our last birthday for the year 2016 and he turned 4. It's hard to believe how quickly that time has gone by.
We were out front of their house after his birthday party and someone was asking him how old he was and he said 3, and they said no, you're 4. So he turned to his mom and asked 'Am I 4?' And she said, yes, you are 4 now. The look on his face was priceless! He said "Me 4 now!" He was so excited!

He was so excited about everything. He's a happy little guy.

Daddy made his pinata. It's a car. They had a great time trying to break it open.

We went over to the school playground for a while. There was a bird just sitting on this post. We wouldn't let the kids touch it, but they sure wanted to. It was so odd that it wouldn't fly off with kids surrounding it, but it didn't. Tyrel wanted to catch it with his net soooo bad, but his mom said no. The bird later moved to the other side of the post. Not sure what was wrong with it.

Bandon Family Day

Elivia was excited about finding a crab.

Zoey liked playing by herself in all the nooks and crannies of the rocks. We were constantly looking to see where she went.

Tyrel fell in and got completely drenched.

Elivia was pretty wet, too. They just had a blast going through the water.

We met at the Bandon Fish Market and got some of their yummy food for lunch. Then we went down to Face Rock and played on the beach for several hours. It was a beautiful, sunny day with very little wind. It was only about 60 degrees but it felt more like 70. Then we went to Face Rock Creamery and sampled cheese and got an ice cream cone. There were about 35 of us so we were a little spread out in the timing of the activities but we were mostly all together. It was great!
